OMG! What a year it’s been! If you’re anywhere in the world you may have had the same type of year as we’ve had in CT. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed just about everything. Kids attending school virtually, people working from home, families using Zoom to do baby showers. Unfortunately, there have been an unimaginable amount of people that have died from the virus. And the many who have fallen ill from COVID are struggling to recuperate physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. It has been a unprecedented time for everyone.
For me and the family we’ve had our fair share of “trying times”. But at the same time we’ve been able to adapt to our “new normal”. My kids have been doing their best to deal with online school. My wife has recently joined the workforce and I’ve taken advantage of some opportunities that this pandemic has created.
Despite all the adversities, challenges, and uncertainties I’ve learned that being a prepper isn’t only for the conspiracy theorists. 😳
Who knew that toilet paper and lysol would be scarce?
With all the craziness, I’m still confident that we will all come out of this with a better appreciation for life.
2020 is almost done (thank God!) but the residuals from the events of this year will be lasting well into the next couple of years.
What have you learned from 2020? What will you do differently for the upcoming year?
